We recommend rotating your mattress every 3 to 6 months. That’s about 2 to 4 times a year. It keeps the mattress in top shape for years to come.

Do all mattresses need flipping?

How to rotate and flip your mattress
Do it with two people if possible—it’s much easier. Here’s how:
Rotate | Switch head and foot
- Remove all bedding
- Stand on each side of the bed
- Lift the mattress without bending it too much
- Turn it 180 degrees
- Place it back on the bed
- Make the bed again
- Repeat every 3 to 6 months
Flip | Turn top to bottom
Note: you don’t need to flip Cloudpillo mattresses. Saves you the hassle 😉
- Remove all bedding
- Stand on each side of the bed
- Lift and flip along the short axis
- Bottom becomes top
- Place back on the bed
- Remake your bed
- Repeat every 3 to 6 months (if applicable)
