Are you ready to help build an international e-commerce player? And do you want to work alongside talented, committed colleagues who bring out the best in themselves and each other? Then Cloudpillo's open culture is the right fit for you!

As a Demand & Performance Analyst, you ensure reliable forecasts, healthy inventory management, and sharp margin insight. You proactively and reactively provide advice on margin and inventory optimisation based on data, enabling Cloudpillo to make better decisions around purchasing, assortment, and commercial campaigns.

What will you be doing?

You will take ownership of the forecast, drive data-led portfolio management, and provide inventory advice. You have a clear advisory role across the entire organisation. You work from our vibrant office in 's-Hertogenbosch and report directly to the CFO.

Your responsibilities:

1. Demand Planning

  • Translating commercial plans into demand and inventory requirements
  • Owner of the sales & operations forecast
  • Improving forecast accuracy and reducing systematic bias
  • Setting up and maintaining an effective S&OP cycle
  • Developing scenarios (best / base / worst case) to support purchasing decisions

2. Inventory & Margin Performance

  • Identifying inventory risks and managing ageing and write-downs
  • Creating visibility into full SKU costs (purchasing, storage, handling, returns)
  • Supporting commercial campaigns from a margin and cash perspective
  • Proactively advising on purchasing decisions based on forecast and inventory developments

3. Portfolio & Assortment Advice

  • Analysing SKU and category performance (margin, turnover rate, complexity)
  • Advising on portfolio decisions: introduction, optimisation, phase-out
  • Acting as a sparring partner on pricing and growth

4. Dashboards & Reporting

  • Building and maintaining dashboards for inventory, margin, forecast accuracy and sell-through rate
  • Integrating data from ERP, marketing, and retail partners
  • Translating data into concrete recommendations — not just flagging issues, but advising on solutions

Who are you?

  • You hold a completed bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Econometrics, Data Science (with a business focus), or equivalent;
  • You have at least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in demand planning or supply chain, preferably within e-commerce or online retail, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), retail (omnichannel or pure-play), or a high-growth scale-up;
  • You are proficient in Excel. Experience with Power BI/Looker and preferably SQL is a plus;
  • You can independently build dashboards and analyses;
  • You can translate data into business impact and make concrete recommendations;
  • You have demonstrable experience with forecasting, S&OP, and bias reduction;
  • You have a solid understanding of inventory management, ageing, and purchasing logic;
  • You understand margin, unit economics, EBITDA, and cash flow;
  • You are able to connect commercial and operational interests;
  • You are clear and confident when presenting trade-offs and priorities to the management team;
  • You are willing to take positions and ask the right questions;
  • You combine analytical depth with accessible communication.

What we offer you:

  • A challenging role in which you contribute to our international growth and make a direct impact;
  • A competitive salary, depending on your experience and skills;
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth — both yours and Cloudpillo's;
  • Plenty of room for initiative, optimisation, and ownership;
  • A work environment where your initiatives and creativity are valued.
